How Emanuel Pastreich as candidate for president was denied membership in Green Rainbow Party for his questioning of the Covid 19 narrative
Here is the exchange at the Southeast Massachusetts Chapter of the Green Rainbow Party (Green Party US) in July, 2023 that resulted in my being denied membership in the chapter because I supposedly posted conspiracy theories concerning COVID-19 on my campaign website. A man by the name of Mike Pascucci, who subsequently vanished from the Southeast Massachusetts Chapter after the election, led the attack on me for my conspiracy theories about COVID-19 and other matters.
It is clear from this exchange that Green Rainbow Party could not support anyone questioning the Covid-19 reign of terror. Whether what I was saying was true or not was not a concern.
Mike Pascucci suggests at the end of the exchange that he will contact me about membership. He wrote me exactly what he said in the email:
“reply to his email letting him know that we are aware of his presidential campaign and that we do not share some of his platform points, but that we will discuss his inquiry at our meeting and get back to him afterward”
But I never heard back from him and no one contacted me again before the election.
The immoral manner in which the Green Party US attacked those who upheld science and demanded an open discussion about Covid-19 is disgusting and repulsive. To this day the Green Party US has not taken responsible for its immoral participation in this state crime.
I still feel, however, that the Green Party offers more potential than any other party, or national group, for building a true liberation coalition.
The first step, however, is for the leadership of the Green Party US to openly admit the criminality of its actions in the last election. I think that should include Jill Stein’s resignation, not only because she is getting up there in age with Biden and Trump, but also because she was personally responsible for backing the Covid fraud.
I was the only candidate running in the Green Party against Cornel West in 2023 and I had a strong base in the Green Party and across the country. The decision of the Green Party US to pretend I did not exist, and to exclude me from all discussions, was no accident, it was part of the deep corruption in the one national party that offered some hope.

Subject: [AdCom] Emanuel Pastreich concerns
AdCom,
I’m writing to express my concerns with news of a potential new member of the SMRC chapter: Emanuel Pastreich. He is actually running for president specifically as an independent, not as a Green. And he is a conspiracy theorist who espouses dangerous rhetoric that disagrees with GRP positions.
There are plenty of examples, as much of his 20-plank platform contains conspiracy theories and dangerous rhetoric, but here is the one about COVID: “Science demonstrates clearly that the masks are damaging to health and a blatant form of tyranny and that these ‘vaccines’ are not vaccines at all but biological weapons. […] The COVID 19 vaccines must be stopped.”
I am concerned that this very similar to what we faced a couple years ago and would derail our moves toward growing the party in a positive way. And this is particularly at a time when new people are being drawn in to the party (such as Valielza O'Keefe who also recently reached out to GRP offices about joining SMRC) because of other candidates much more in line with our values, and they could be scared off by such nonsense.
I first became familiar with Emanuel a handful of months ago because one of the GPUS delegates, Chuck Fall, is a huge fan and has been trying to convince GPUS national committee members to recruit him despite having very little support — only those sympathetic to Chuck’s self-described “Green Libertarianism” and obsession with COVID conspiracies.
In fact, when Chuck first floated Emanuel as a potential candidate, I looked at Emanuel’s website and saw he was pushing numerous conspiracy theories. Then when I wrote of my findings on the National list, Chuck responded by saying that anyone who uses the term “conspiracy theorist” should face disciplinary action, which is a ludicrous attempt at censorship.
Until now, I had not been aware that Emanuel lives in Massachusetts. He emailed GRP offices last night and said he lives in West Tisbury, Martha’s Vineyard, and that he wants to join SMRC (see below). I am very concerned about this, and would like your thoughts on how to move forward.

Mike,
Thanks for sharing Emanuel's campaign platform. I believe we adopted a
statement supporting the treatment of COVID-19 as an essential public health issue. The GRP would have a difficult time supporting a candidate that sees COVID as a hoax and treatment as a danger. If I am correct that we have a clear position differing from Emanuel's, we could invite him to join us at an introductory meeting with the understanding that we do not
share some of his platform points.
In peace,
Eileen

Thank you for your replies, Eileen and Zach. How about we discuss this further at Thursday’s AdCom meeting?
I can reply to his email letting him know that we are aware of his presidential campaign and that we do not share some of his platform points, but that we will discuss his inquiry at our meeting and get back to him afterward.
