Ciao! Emanuel Pastreich,

After reading your article on "How World Governments Are Run by Multinational Companies" there is a lot of truth here, but more importantly our need to realize this has occurred and happened. Therefore, we must take back our sovereignty, because we no longer trust the phony puppets leading us around for the Global Elite agendas.

Success is never achieved by the size of our brain but it is always achieved by the quality of our thoughts. The quality of our lives depends not on whether or not we have conflicts, but on how we respond to them. We the people, must become the architect of our future rather than a prisoner of our past. Usually, you never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, you build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.

Of course, we acquire knowledge in fragments that are unique to each individual, which is why we can be smarter together than any one of us can be alone. After all, nobody knows everything about everything. We are all more ignorant than we realize. As NONE of us is as smart as ALL of us. That’s why we need civilization, to draw upon each other’s strengths to overcome our individual frailty and weakness.

To be human means to care for each other and to support civilization by working together to establish a better living together, right? So, the moment we stop caring for each other and working together that's the moment that we lose our humanity and what makes us human. To save the human race we have an obligation and duty to each other.

I suspect the solution we need here – requires our awakening, to develop a conscience, not in one person, but in almost everyone that participates in society and of our civilization. Our education has been eroded, mislead, misguided, and we not developed our conscience, as so many just adopt what their told to do without much regards about it. If people developed a conscience, they would be developing their values and principles, of which they would cherish in their hearts, not their wallets.

Obviously, the global elite's power rest in their wealth, to buy and control everything. The moment their money, their wealth is removed, these global elites have nothing to hold over humanity. Capitalism as an example puts the importance of profit and wealth accumulation before the interests and human rights of people. The human cost of capitalism needs to be addressed.

Companies and corporations must not be allowed to use the infrastructure we all depend upon as a weapon against their rivals to the detriment of all others. Competitive behavior dictates that eventually a company will act on their own interests to the detriment of all others unless a mechanism exists to prevent it.

As you indicated, there is a need for our self-determination, to govern ourselves. But there is also a need to address the corruption of wealth and money, which can be address with our development of having a conscience so that we can just say "no" to their hostile takeover of our sovereignty. The root cause is the disconnect between the people and our government.

We will never solve our problems simply by instituting new laws and regulations. Ultimately, the source of our problems lies at the level of the individual. If people lack moral values and integrity, no system of laws and regulations will be adequate. So long as people give priority to material values, then injustice, inequity, intolerance and greed – all the outward manifestations of neglect of inner values – will persist.

That being said, we cannot change what we are not aware of, and once we are aware, we cannot help but change. So there is hope!

We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. Let us be grateful to people who make us happy, for they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom! A slave is one who cannot speak their thoughts. There are two ways to be fooled: one is to believe what isn’t true, the other is to refuse to believe what is true. Blaming your faults on your nature does not change the nature of your faults. The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie—deliberate, contrived, and dishonest, but the myth—persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic. Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.

The intuitive mind is a sacred gift, and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift. Knowing is not enough; we must apply! We are made wise not by the recollection of our past, but by the responsibility for our future. Wisdom consists of the anticipation of consequences. These days people seek knowledge, not wisdom. Knowledge is of the past, wisdom is of the future. Knowledge is borrowed, wisdom is the flowering of your innermost being.

No university can offer it, no scripture can offer it, no scholarship is capable of doing it. They are all impotent efforts, but they have been deceiving millions of people for thousands of years. Yes, they can make you knowledgeable. To be knowledgeable is one thing, and to know is totally different. When we give our minds and our responsibility away, we give our lives away.

Realization of the "Self" is possible only when someone is free to think on his/her own and act accordingly. The most heinous and barbaric crime in this world would be to stop an individual to think freely.

A good friend is a connection to life - a tie to the past, a road to the future, the key to sanity in a totally insane world. The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good people to do nothing about it. Nonviolent resistance is extraordinarily powerful. It shows who holds the moral high ground. It reveals the thugs and bullies in high places for who they are. Remember how Mahatma Gandhi of India gain independence from the Crown of England using nonviolence. This too can be applied against the corrupt governments and the Global Elite when enough develop their conscience to care and concern.

Government claim that it cannot enforce it's immigration laws because too many people break it, so just imagine if million of citizens decided to ignore the income tax codes knowing it's just wrong to take away what a honest person earns to feed their family? Degree of Freedom — Not Wealth — Should be the Measure of our Success. Our technical civilization has just reached its greatest level of savagery. We will have to choose, in the more or less near future, between collective suicide and the intelligent use of our most cherished values and principles – which cannot be held without first developing a conscience. This is no longer a prayer but a demand to be made by all peoples to their governments - a demand to choose definitively between hell and reason.

理念なき行動は凶器であり、行動なき理念は無価値である

Japanese proverb; "Vision without action is a daydream. Action without vision is a nightmare".

Beautifully expressed. I turned down a graduate degree at Yale and long before that a full scholarship ( age 17) at Berkeley. Found years later I had ancestors who began Yale and Harvard. My family never knew it’s own history. Also Native Americans whose land was appropriated for these temples of higher learning. America is a complex exercise, a process, on many levels.

Greetings from the river city.
