Make America Stupid Again

A Faster Collapse than anticipated.

The Collapse is coming much more quickly than we had ever imagined possible. The decision of Donald Trump to insult Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House in front of the world was not a move for peace, but an indication that Washington has “run out of cards” to quote President Trump. I have no affection for Zelenskyy, but I have a grudging respect for the way he stood up to Trump while sitting there in the White House surrounded by the enemy.

Anyone interested in how the process goes from here, I recommend you take a look at Dmitry Orlov’s book “Reinventing Collapse: The Soviet Experience and American Prospects” in which he traces the signs of collapse that are emerging in the United States and follow the collapse of politics, money, business, culture and values seen in the late Soviet Union. Orlov witnessed the collapse of the Soviet Union and then immigrated to the United States.

You see, the United States and the Soviet Union were like Siamese Twins. They shared the same ideological heart that offered an imperfect alternative to European imperialism. When the Soviet Union died, the United States shouted for joy that it had beaten its rival. But, in fact, the United States had already started to die at that moment. There would not have been a fight against racism in the 1960s if the Soviet Union had not put ideological pressure on the United States. There would not have been a concern with equality and equity in America if the Soviet Union had not offered biting critiques of American ideology.

And now the United States is going down fast. After the humiliation of Zelenskyy, there is not a single American ally that is not reconsidering what that alliance with the United States means. I think that alliance systems in peacetime are a bad idea, but I am certain the damage done goes much further. The United States appears to be a nation run by clowns—after all, even if you were backing away from supporting Ukraine for some strategic reason, there would be no reason to publicly humiliate the president.

In Japan, the Pachinko Parlors feature this odd clown with a stars and striped hat which represents the foolish, ugly, and crass America.

Trying to desperately to find a space for an American in the political climate contaminated by hypocrisy, I stopped by the pachinko parlor to give my own MAGA speech—or should we say MASA (Make America Stupid Again).

We see that women are being reduced to tools for production (like The Handmaiden’s Tale) by repressive regulations that go far beyond anything that citizens opposed to abortion wanted. It is rather a step towards outright fascism. Now any student protesting Gaza will now be jailed for years, or so the Justice Department’s Leo Terrell claimed. He is the head of the new Task Force to Combat Antisemitism that will file hate crime indictments against campus activists “supporting Hamas and trying to intimidate Jews.”

So also, the Federal Government is being stripped of all experts, all capacity to regulate business, insure safety in transportation, infrastructure, housing or energy supplies, stop the exploitation of citizens or the environment, provide education or medical care, or do any of the tasks of government except those desired by billionaires.

All that will be left of government will be a military-police-immigration-intelligence complex that uses force to suppress any meaningful opposition. Project 2025 is creating a new club-footed hero worshipping Christian nationalist ideology that dumbs down the population and enforces conformity using the steel fist in a velvet glove of surveillance dressed up as pornography and social media.

The results are not hard to predict. When the United States is brought to its knees by another oil well disaster, the leakage of radiation from a nuclear missile site, massive forest fires (natural or induced by special forces), or the collapse of transportation and communications systems, then the United States will be forced to pull out of the world for a while. US overseas bases could disappear overnight, and like the Soviet Union we will follow the red giant, white dwarf cycle.

You see, when a star reaches a certain age, the core starts to break down. The result of the death of the star, however, is counter-intuitive. You see, when the star ages, the core of the star fragments and loses its gravitational pull. That leads the mass of hot gases that make up the star to expand outwards as the star lacks the gravitational pull to keep them in. Once the star has massively expanded, including all surrounding planets in the hot gases once held in check by the core, the star than contracts back in to form a tiny white dwarf which is a tiny fraction of the size of the original star.
