I decided to delete the recent comments that I posted here concerning Chris Hedge’s article “Surrendering to Authoritarianism” in which I voiced a rather critical perspective.
One thoughtful reader suggested that I might have misread what Hedges was suggesting when he used the word “masks” and I think that although there is some ambiguity, that such a reading was entirely possible.
But more importantly, I came to feel that it is not a constructive act to quibble with Hedges when I agree with much of what he says. I do not promise I will be uncritical in the future, but I will think more carefully about what exactly I say, and why.
Thank you for your patience.
Well, you could have left up the post. And, well, the broken PT Barnum, Indian Removal Program, Enslaved One Quarter Citizen Monroe Doctrine Crazed American Broken Clock might be right twice a day. Maybe.
Psychosis of Whiteness, or White Psychosis.
The White Man's House is full of the Minyans, and the Jews of the Kissinger ilk have persisted, in front and behind the curtains.
Throwing the baby out with the bathwater?
Chris is famous, a celeb, so, attacking him isn't attack his readers or followers.
Hedges talks about the cult of celebrity, so he'd be not so willing to attack his attackers, that is, those in digital ink.
But again, we use the word war when Jews in Israel bomb, strafe, raze, implode, by tank, air, ship, when it is s mowing of the lawn 10,000 fold.
Psychosis of whiteness is puritanical and judaic.
And so here we are:

i have noticed that there are 2 kinds of leftists, mainstream middle class bourgeoise leftists and radical revolutionary leftists. The mainstream middle class bourgeoise leftists hate the oligarchy, hate both parties Democrats and Republicans, hate wars, are against zionism, racism, and oppression but some reason they are not in favor of a full communist-socialist government, a dictatorship of the proletariat, a violent radical overthrow of the whole US government, the US constitution and every thing that USA is right now to be totally changed by a sort of Soviet USA (A workers state).
I think that the reason why the mainstream left (Counterpunch.org, Chris Hedges, Democracy Now, Alternet, Thom Hartmann, The Young Turks, David Pakman, TomDispatch, Jeffery St. Clair, Noam Chomsky, The Nation Magazine, The Green Party, Jill Stein, Bernie Sanders, Matt Taibi, etc) is not in favor of a radical change, is because i might think that most mainstream left organizations are funded by businesses, by local businesses (that even might not be part of the oligarchy) but those businesses that fund the mainstream left wouldn't want to see a full communist USA. So that's why some marxists call them "The Middle Class Left"
And then the radical left (Anarchists, marxists, trotskists, marxist-leninists, maoists etc) are all in favor of a radical change, (usually outside of elections), most radical leftists are impossibilists (meaning that social programs like medicare, medicaid and food-stamps do not lead to an 100% socialist system (a workers state) (a a system where poor and working people have power and the wealth of society is used in a planned and sustainable way to meet people’s needs.)
So that's why I try to read Chris Hedges articles but with a grain of salt. I try to be as radical as I can, i even support the anarchist-communist ideology of Proudhom, Kropotkin, Emman Goldman, Bakunin etc Because anarchists are correct in claiming that governments states have been invented with the specific objective of producing wealth for a tiny minority, while enslaving the majority. That's the real objective of governments (most people are not aware of that)
But even within the radical left (Trotskists, marxists, stalinists) there are many problems, sectarianism.
For instance i like to read the articles of the trotskist radical left website World Socialist Website, http://www.wsws.org they also have a party (Socialist Equality Party of USA) but for some reason I don't like them too much, they suffer from an excess of sectarianism, perfectionism, fundamentalism, arrogance, selfishness, etc. And real leftist, a real communist should be just like Jesus Christ (The best socialist of all time)
From my own point I think Emmanuel Pastreich is a lot more humble, and more close to the ideology of Jesus Christ than many mainstream leftists and than many radical leftists.
Humility, loving others more than your own self should be part of the behaviour pattern of every socialist, communist anti-individualism, anti-Trump activist
I think that the USA needs a sort of United Christian Front of salvation led by Emmanuel Pastreich with poor right-wingers betrayed by Trump and poor left-wingers and poor people in general, as an electoral option for the 2028 elections. But there is too much sectarianism in the left, and too much group-narcissism
