Reponse to "Letters to an American Friend in Korea"
A short response to Michael Buergermeister's thoughtful comments in "Letters from Vienna"
As I prepared the funeral for my wife, and dealt with the hardships that my son and daughter encountered when suddenly called back to Seoul, as I listened to my daughter talk about her dream that her mother would come live with her after she was admitted to college, I noticed that my fellow substacker Michael Buergermeister was composing a series of insightful letters to me.
I am sorry I do not have time to respond properly now, but I promise that we will have a constructive and productive dialog, perhaps in the form of an on-line discussion, in the near future. After all, our debate is not between two individuals, but rather between two factions of the anti-globalist movement.
I would characterize the debate as being between those who feel that the solution to the globalist agenda, to techno-fascism, lies in the restoration of nation states, and those who are internationalists, who think that the heart of the anti-fascist movement in the 1930s, and now, must take the form of anti-globalist international movements.
I would put Michael in the first category and me in the second. The latter is more along the lines of the movement that we observe in George Orwell ‘s book “Homage to Catalonia.”
But I am not sure if that is the right analogy and I await the moment when we can discuss the most effective strategy to respond to common threats together.
I do not assume that my perspective is correct and I am sure that I can learn a lot from Michael
Let me just offer a very short comment here:
THE HEART OF THE MATTER
The current criminal takeover of the Earth is not about viruses at all. To say so is also a distraction from the real war. This war is, first and foremost, about destroying the ability of citizens to think; it is also about reducing all institutions and movements to trash.
What the billionaires do not want, above all, is some sort of organization, some sort of believable movement, left on Earth that people can rally around, can organize around.
That is why they feed us fake saviors like Donald Trump, Rand Paul, Bernie Sanders, AOL, and others. They have already prepared cardboard messiahs for the people, saviors who will betray us at the last minute. They want you to be mad at Biden or Trump, but they do not want you to have a plan, or to belong to a movement that you believe in.
They definitely Do NOT want organized people who are ready to die in the fight for freedom, peoplewho have a sophisticated understanding of how the super rich control money, the means of production, and the system of distribution, sales, and marketing.
There are a massive algorithms for dividing and conquering, for creating distrust and suspicion, that the supercomputers are following now as they track, and stimulate, hundreds of millions of people 24/7, trying try to push them, and to shove them, to react in predictable ways to the destructionof their world.
As Yuval N. Harari told us, all too honestly, we will be “hacked” animals, without being able to detect that hacking.
Cutting ourselves off from this collapsing technological nightmare, as it goes down, must be our highest priority. That will require, above all, moral courage. It also will require spiritual strength and an understanding of metaphysics, esthetics, and epistemology—all the useless humanistic fields that have been replaced with dull and flat technology in schools over the last forty years. Since technology buried knowledge in a shallow grave, we have been left blind.
Moreover, in the land of the pornography-hooked, Facebook-trapped, game-obsessed, and fast-food-addicted, the blind man is king.
Interesting way to describe the contrast between what you two think, Emanuel. But it is not either/or, black and white nor zero sum.
As my friend in Finland said some number of years ago as we discussed the future and obvious change & sweeping tides afoot: “There is going to be a one-world government. Our job is to keep the tyranny out.”
Well yes. I wholly agree.
I have argued for a long time, starting when I saw the tyranny ramping up with the Bush administration, that there was “another way” to accomplish “One World” — what I assumed to be the final goal of globalization. That way is inspiration. Truth, integrity, promises kept, ethics — impossible with the current drivers of the NWO, whose thinking & methods got out of hand long long ago. Actually, it’s the same as in the inception, just exponentially more sociopathic. There is zero honor among them, except amongst themselves. And even that is questionable.
It doesn’t have to be this way. A transformation to the broad implementation of new technological revolution doesn't have to be tyrannical. It could be done well, truthfully, ethically, humanely, inspirationally.
But the bastards just can’t quit the greed, weapons, war, & power-hungry destructiveness. They cannot conceive of another way. They are operating out of fear and paranoia rather than, let’s say, truth and beauty. And love — about which I am not kidding — because love is what makes us human.
Dear Emanuel,
Many thanks for your prompt response to my missive.
I strongly suspect that there are more than merely “two factions of the anti-globalist movement”.
Yes, techno-fascism is the evil which needs to be fought but the question is: how do we go about doing so? I am, on account of my background, both a cosmopolitan and “internationalist”, which is why I supported the EU for so very long (too long!).
Internationalism however is not always a positive phenomenon! I must remind you that the democratically elected, legitimate government of Spain was defeated on account of the “internationalism” of the Fascists (with the aid of “democratic” Britain and France) while the “internationalist Nazis” are, sadly very much alive and kicking, as has been evidenced in Ukraine!
I am also no friend of the nation-state, which has recently shown its limitations (too many nation states went along with the lockdowns and the Genocide by Jab). I prefer the idea of smaller, more egalitarian and democratic units, and like to think of the Swiss model as one which could well be imitated and further developed. In other words: federalism, republicanism with a dash of “anarchism” (in the sense that there is no hierarchy, no “lords and ladies”, no Kleptocrats and everyone is equal).
I found considerable inspiration prior to the “crisis” from a documentary by an Austrian journalist and film-maker: Kurt Langbein titled: “Zeit für Utopien”. He showed how a factory can successfully be run without management and exposed the evils of the EU, which destroys the environment on an industrial scale but which gets away with it because it is all part of the “globalist agenda”. There has also been a lot of thought invested in local currencies, local government etc.
You have a habit, I note, a philosophical error if I may be so bold, of viewing the world in a dialectic fashion. It is exactly this dialecticism, which is part of the problem! My approach is much more holistic!
In all other respects I heartily agree:
“The current criminal takeover of the Earth is not about viruses at all. To say so is also a distraction from the real war. This war is, first and foremost, about destroying the ability of citizens to think; it is also about reducing all institutions and movements to trash.

Basically, what the powers that be want is a wrestling match between two fake puppets, such as Biden & Trump both of whom are owned by the Deep State.
