Shiva the Destroyer Descends on Washington

“Now I am become Death, the Destroyer of Worlds”

This is the line from the Bhagavad Gita that J Robert Oppenheimer supposedly spoke regarding his role in the development of the atomic bomb in the top-secret Manhattan Project. We are ready now for nuclear war, but all sorts of other wars as well.

Shiva, the destroyer, is the most ominous of the Hindu gods, and yet he appears in paintings as rather harmless. So also it is hard to think of a entertainment mogul who loves having a good time like Trump as being capable of playing the awesome role of destroying not only the United States, but Western civilization, and the entirety of humanity to boot. But as Thomas Mann said, famously, “The fact that someone is insipid does not mean they are harmless.”

Trump has been selected as the destroyer, and he has become death. It is not important that he is not the one actually making the decisions, and that he cannot concentrate on any topic for more than five minutes.

He will hold up the knife; he will cast the lit match.

But American civilization has been drenched with gasoline for decades, even for centuries. The corruption and decay in government, in academics, and in civil society is so deep that there is nothing left in the great institutions that are capable of resisting Trump when he smashes the facades of the centers of power. Those institutions, whether the Federal Reserve or Harvard University, collapse into piles of rotten mush when Trump and his clown team attack with their little mallets. But they collapse, not because Trump is all-powerful, but because the United States has been hollowed out over years and years. All the authority figures took the dark money to promote everything from free trade to 9.11 terrorism, to COVID bio-terror, to bogus “inflation” and “interest rates” frauds. They all played along with the sick game—until they, the authorities cited in the newspapers, really have nothing to say about anything.

Yes, the time for the destroyer has come. The kharmic wheel has turned, as it does for all empires. Like the Ming or Ottoman Empire, no great foreign enemy is required to bring the palace down. It will self-destruct of its own accord.

We the citizens, do not need to give a penny to any politicians, or other cardboard messiahs. We need to be grounded spiritually and intellectually, to know who we are and where we stand in the historical process. We must stop using smart phones and start reading history, poetry, and the best of our shared legacy. We should write honest essays, by hand, and we should speak about real issues with family and friends. Then, and only then, can we slowly take control of all the means of producing food or tools, and teach ourselves, and others, how to be wise, and to act in a constructive manner.

The rest of the great fraud will collapse now of its own accord. Trump is no hero, and he is most definitely a part of the collapsing system, but he is also playing his assigned role perfectly.
