Government can play a real role in society to regulate and to steer us towards a better future, but only if government is organically connected to local communities and to organized citizens groups at the local level. Government left to its own devices degenerates into tyranny and plutocracy. *Government* in the United States is increasingly a branding campaign. No one really believes those politicians and government officials who appear on TV represent the people, follow the constitution, or care about you.
A happy Memorial Day Weekend to all and let's remember the unfortunate souls who lost their lives defending the assets of hoodlums who are well-protected by the national security state and corrupt governments on every continent. And let's pay a special tribute to the "worldwide" state-run mainstream media operation who relentlessly convinces viewers to accept the status quo.
