Why such silence regarding the call for a special election for the president overseen by international observers?
Why such silence regarding the call for a special election for the president overseen by international observers?
Emanuel Pastreich
The response to, or lack of response to, my recent speech proposing that we have a special, internationally supervised, and transparent election for president of the United States at a later date, and that we abandon the hopelessly corrupt election planned for November 5, was of sufficient significance to warrant a comment.
Not only was my suggestion completely ignored by all the regular free speech venues and conspiracy sites, including many that would normally pick up one of my significant statements, but I was also drowned out in various criticisms here, and elsewhere.
It made no difference that Caitlin Johnstone would write something along the same lines at the same time. My statement was forbidden and hers was acceptable to a broad audience for a simple reason.
Ms. Johnstone pointed out what was wrong, but she did not present a solution that was entirely within the power of the citizens of the United States in accord with the law and the Constitution.
To put it another way, the reason I have been so completely ignored by the media, including the alternative media and the conspiracy theory media, during this campaign is that unlike the other alternative candidates for president, I am not running as a symbolic protest, nor running to increase my fame, nor to obtain funding. I am running to win.
To state that the election is unfair and that we need a legitimate one, and to suggest what form that legitimate election might take, without focusing on my own interests, is forbidden in the corporate narrative. Trump can say the election is stolen from him, but he cannot state that we must have a fair election.
That difference is infinite. It is the difference between democracy and tyranny.
To suggest that the other candidates must pull out because they are guilty of crimes, crimes that can be easily proven, and therefore they are not qualified to run, is also a forbidden statement—as logical and legal as it may be.
But at the more fundamental level, to suggest that the citizens of the United States, especially those involved in a political movement like Fear No Evil, like Green Liberty, like Workers’ League, or others, can set the rules by which the political game is played, rather than passively and meekly accepting the ridiculous rules made up by the power elite, is a threat of the first order to the parasitic system.
Better to be a raving communist lunatic, better to be a Russian or Chinese puppet, better to be a 9.11 or Covid 19 conspiracy theory pusher than to actually put forth to the citizens a roadmap for how to take back control of the United States in accordance with federal law, the Constitution, and common decency.
I am encouraged, not discouraged, by this turn of events. I feel that the way things work has been revealed in the most profound sense over the last two days; the tide has receded and the rocks have emerged水落石出. The debate on how to hold a legitimate election has been opened up and the debate will not stop.
This election on November fifth will not be legitimate and we will not recognize it as such, no matter what clowns are forced upon us. It is ok for Donald Trump to say he will declare himself dictator, but it is not ok for me to say the United States will follow its own laws. This travesty is breaking down.
I welcome my fellow citizens, and the citizens of the world who are directly impacted by the decay of American institutions (which means just about everyone), to join us in demanding that the election be an election, that the government be a government, that journalism be journalism, and that citizens be permitted to, and empowered to, be citizens in accord with the Constitution. That maligned and ignored Constitution, unlike the bogus and illegal “private-public partnerships” cobbled together by bankers, defines what institutions have, or do not have the authority of government.
If the Constitution says that our handful of citizens hold the authority invested in us by a republican democracy, and that the nest of vipers woven by Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Oracle has no authority over us whatsoever, and that they are also guilty of numerous crimes, then the future of our country should be clear to all.
Of course there will be those who cling to their delusions, who find comfort in the pathetic cutout figures and cloying narratives provided by the powerful, like sugar snacks for cows led to the slaughterhouse. But those fancy tales make less and less sense, have less and less appeal even for the delusional.
The very fact that I am able to write these words in the midst of the battle signifies that the tide has turned.
The truth goes marching on.
The USA is not capable of a honest election and is a third world country; we need impartial international supervision of our elections.
