It is my belief that once you are an adult, consenting and no harm or injury is done or implied; then it is your business what you do in the privacy of your home. Live and let Live, type thing. Having transgenders in the libraries teaching/gromming our children is not O.K.
So I basically agree with you about the privacy in your home live and let live as adults anyway as for having “transgender storytime” in the libraries, I’m not sure it’s necessary to do that, but as far as grooming, you can look to churches with child molesting issues galore , pastors, and priests, Boy Scout directors and all sorts of issues -beyond Men dressing up in fancy dresses and wearing wigs, which to most children is comical not so much enticing . And yes, there are actually medically transgendered people ,there are even hermaphrodites that the doctors cannot figure out the exact sexual identity of as newborn infants, so there are all sorts of issues that are too complicated to discuss right here. Even a medication given back in the 1950s to mothers with morning sickness has been implicated in sons who are transgender later in life.. turns out to greatly affect some part of the brain, but I can’t remember what.
But as far as grooming, I would like to keep young children away from most everyone unless they are totally vetted and, I’m there with the children with my own children and I was always there and I would not otherwise have children .. we know that most anyone can be a child molester, but it is far more prevalent among men, and there are a lot of men in this world. so it is up to us to be there for our children.
Hi Debra; I was there 100% of the time for my young one and even took her to work 100% of the time. None of this stuff was popular back then, but there were dangers. I see some parents with those values today, but they are in the minority (unfortunately).
