As a practicing physician for 40 years, I had always accepted what I was taught about viruses in medical school 50 years ago. When the covid episode started, I had never even heard that there was a school of thought that held the view that viruses do not exist. I started a deep dive into virology literature and discovered that some had supplied scientifically believable arguments that denied the existence of viruses. Surely, I thought, this vast school of virologists would provide the counter arguments to the critics in order to defend the legitimacy of their field of inquiry. But I found nothing that contradicted the arguments of the "no virus" crowd. Ignoring the arguments of skeptics in science is a common strategy but, at the moment, I am not buying it.
Yes I did see this book previously and although I am no expert, it did not engage in a systematic refutal of the fundamental research of virology. It presented his opinions without reference to research aimed at refuting fundamental research. It might be true, but it is not science

Dr. Bailey simply pointed out that the evidence proffered by the virologists did not meet scientific standards and explained why in some detail.

As for the Jewish question, I find it offensive that people use the reductive argument that everything is done by Jews. It is a way of hiding the true workings of an extractive consumption economy by pinning everything on Jews. That said, I do not find blaming Jews to be worse than denial of climate change--a strategy which is even more dangerous and devious, or claiming there are no viruses, or the world is flat,or we are run by Masons or aliens. Although I am no expert, I know enough to follow such an argument. If you do not do that, then it is hard to take your statements seriously. You can find the fundamental scientific arguments against the existence of viruses in "Farewell to Virology" by Dr. Mark Bailey. As a practicing physician for 40 years, I had always accepted what I was taught about viruses in medical school 50 years ago. When the covid episode started, I had never even heard that there was a school of thought that held the view that viruses do not exist. I started a deep dive into virology literature and discovered that some had supplied scientifically believable arguments that denied the existence of viruses. Surely, I thought, this vast school of virologists would provide the counter arguments to the critics in order to defend the legitimacy of their field of inquiry. But I found nothing that contradicted the arguments of the "no virus" crowd. Ignoring the arguments of skeptics in science is a common strategy but, at the moment, I am not buying it.
Yes I did see this book previously and although I am no expert, it did not engage in a systematic refutal of the fundamental research of virology. It presented his opinions without reference to research aimed at refuting fundamental research. It might be true, but it is not science
I must respectfully disagree. The burden of proof in science is on the party that is making a positive assertion about some physical phenomenon or process and its causation. Dr. Bailey simply pointed out that the evidence proffered by the virologists did not meet scientific standards and explained why in some detail.
